Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is such a natural babe! & photographer Kimi Hammerstroem captures her great essence.

john, i’m only dancing...

I’m officially out of school, hooray for summer!....yet I continue to lack inspiration. I need to get away from Southern California for a few weeks....find inspiration/beauty in nature. These photographs include lunch at Wurskuche which is a great German hot dog & beer joint in downtown LA, my favorite boots in the grass...a wicked David Bowie vinyl that I scooped up at work,  a drunk sleepy guy which I encountered last Saturday(I thought it would be fun to take a photo next to him) at some zine festival, and a crappy photo of some DIY shorts I made. I hope my creativity starts to tick soon....what inspires you day to day?

j-June-I

It’s Friday June the first! summer is just around the corner. This photograph of Bob Dylan receiving the medal of freedom made my day, simply because Dylan is an amazing artist, and he looks so rad wearing sunglasses while receiving one of the highest medals in America! I know I should do some drastic changes to this blog, which I’ve been calming/bragging about for months now (I’ll stop procrastinating this month) ! I hope ya’ll have an amazing & memorable first weekend of June. Here’s a groovy jam from a gnarly local band, Mr. Elevator & the Brain Hotel (their live performances are amaaaaaazzzing) so check them out via their bandcamp here.

dreamingofparis

There’s something raw&hidden that I love about Viktor Vauthier’s photography.  If I ever travel to Paris in this life time one of the first things which I will do is visit the tombs of great artist, poets, musicians.
